White Belt Drill
(Drill for practicing all techniques for 1st Yellow Stripe)

Chon-Ji means literally " the Heaven the Earth". It is, in the Orient, interpreted as the creation of the world or the beginning of human  history, therefore, it is the initial pattern played by the beginner. This pattern consists of two similar parts; one to represent the Heaven and the other  the Earth.

Ready Position
Place hands up by head


Hands Up
Raise hands to head level with fists


Right
Right punch


Left
Left punch


On Top
Place right arm on top left arm (Left palm down, right up)


Low
Execute outer forearm low section block


On Top
Place left arm on top right arm (right palm down left up)


Low
Execute outer forearm low section block


Underneath
Place right arm under left arm both palms down


Side
Execute inner forearm side block with right arm


Underneath
Place left arm under right arm both palms down


Side
Execute inner forearm side block with left arm


Extend
Extend left fist in front of body, right hand out by right ear


Mid
Execute outer forearm side block with right arm


Extend
Extend right fist in front of body, left hand out by left ear


Mid
Execute outer forearm side block with left arm


On Top
Place right arm on top of left arm with both palms down


Back Fist

Execute right back fist strike with two largest knuckles


On top
Place left arm on top of right arm with both palms down


Back Fist
 Execute left back fist strike with two largest knuckles

Stand it up
Open
right hand, hold up so palm faces forward

Lay it Down
Place open right hand over left arm (palms down)

Elbow strike
Slide right arm backwards beside body, palm finishes up

Stand it up
Open left hand, hold up so palm faces forward

Lay it Down
Place open left hand over right arm (palms down)

Elbow Strike
Slide left arm backwards beside body, palm finishes up

Front Kick
Execute right leg front snap kick

Front Kick
Execute left leg front snap kick

Side Kick
Execute right side kick to right side

Kihap
Execute left side kick to left side & Kihap (yell)
