2 Step Sparring Forms

(Sheet #2, #6-10)

Notes: For the following techniques both the attacker and the defender must start in the ready position one arms length apart. Prior to each attack, the attacker steps back with the right leg into a left 'L' stance/fighting stance. The attacker than Kihaps in this position. The attacker returns to the fighting stance at the end of the attack.

Ap Chugi - Jerugi (Second Defense)
The attacker executes a right front snap kick to the groin.
Follow with a right mid section punch (Right leg forward walking stance)

The defender steps back with the right leg into a walking stance while blocking the kick with a low section knife hand block.
Defense follows with a punch block to attackers arm and jaw. (Left hand is in an outer forearm knife hand block, right hand is punching) (Kihap)

Jerugi - Bandae Dollyo Chugi
The attacker step forward with the right foot into a fixed stance while executing a right lunge punch.
The attacker then places the right foot beside the left foot. Looking over the left shoulder the attacker follows with a  mid to high section left reverse turning kick.

The defender steps back into a left L stance executing a left palm block to the punch. 
The defense dodges the spin hook by sliding back and immediately follows up with a mid-section turning kick to the attackers solar plexus

Dollyo Chugi - Bandae Dollyo Chugi
The attacker executes a right mid to high section turning kick.
The attacker immediately places the right foot down beside the left foot. Looking over the left shoulder the attacker follows with a mid to high section left reverse turning kick.

The defense steps back into a right L stance followed by a right inner forearm scooping block.
The defense then executes a low section side kick to the back of the attackers knee with the left leg and at the same time executing  a mid section outer forearm knife hand block to the reverse turning kick. (Kihap)

Yup Chugi - Dwi Chugi
The  attacker  executes a right mid section side kick to attackers waist. The attacker places the right leg down beside the left leg, looking over left shoulder.
The attacker then executes a left mid section back kick.

The defense steps back with left leg into an L stance while executing  a right outer forearm low section knife hand block to back of attackers leg.
The defender then steps in with right the leg forming an L stance away from attacker while executing a right outer forearm low-section deflection to back kick (Left arm is guarding the face.) Defense then follows with a right knife hand strike to back of attackers neck. (Kihap)

Yup Chugi - Bandae Sudo
The attacker executes a right side kick to defenders waist.
The attacker then places the right leg back down beside the left foot. Looking over the left shoulder the attacker executes a left mid-section spinning knife hand strike.

The defender steps back with the left leg into a right L stance while executing a right outer forearm low-section knife hand block to the side kick.
The defender then steps forward with the left leg into a left L stance. The defender executes a left knife hand block to the knife hand while executing a right upset punch to the attackers floating ribs. The defender then grabs the attackers arm with the left hand, steps back, and executes a mid-section turning kick to the attackers solar plexus. (Kihap)
