"I have been working out for about 7-8
years and for the longest time I found myself at a plateau and wouldn’t
progress any further. Then I saw Andrew Laird whom is a personal trainer at
Delfs’ Gym in Bradford. The first time I met Andrew to speak with him was
February of 2002. I was given a certain diet and program to suit my ability
and needs. I met with Andrew again about 10 months later and we did a body fat
count. The result was that I gained 10 pounds of muscle and lost ½% in body
fat.
About 2 weeks after learning about my impressive gains, I decided to
start training for a Bodybuilding competition in July of 2003. That gave me
almost 8 months to train like crazy and maintain a very strict diet.
I have seen such
amazing results because of the time and dedication I have received from
Andrew, I now realize that seeing Andrew was the best thing that I could have
done for my weight training.
Now I find myself training 6-7 days a week and never cheat on my diet. I
have always wanted to compete to see how I could do, and with the expert
advice I have received from Andrew, helped me to get to 5th place in the
competition. I am training for it again this year and, I
believe I can win my category.
