Master Charles J. Delfs

Originally from an engineering background Delfs studied electrical engineering technology at Humber College in Ontario where he earned the president’s letter signifying the highest grades in his program. He tutored and became service manager at an electronics repair company for extra money. After graduating Delfs accepted an engineering position at Dicon Systems Ltd. where he designed gas and smoke detection products, some of which are still seen on the shelves of such stores as Radio Shack and Canadian Tire.

During school Master Delfs began studying The Korean art of TaeKwon-Do under Master Mike Martin. In 1990 he assumed teaching of Master Martin’s 55 students when he was forced to move out of the area. With an entrepreneurial spirit he created Delfs’ Fitness Centre. The next decade had steady growth for Delfs’ and the business now employs 15+ people.

Mr. Delfs continues to fill his technical desire with knowledge of biomechanics and kinesiology and still trains with his instructor.
